Special Commission Structure

Did you know as a Helms Briscoe associate, you are eligible to earn commissions on group event leads to Universal Orlando Resort? With three amazing theme parks and a nighttime entertainment complex, we are an event destination unlike anything else in the world.

How does it work?

Simply supply eligible sales leads to Universal Orlando for groups staying at any hotel and earn 5% of the net revenue from the event.

What is the commission structure?

Helms Briscoe will receive five percent (5%) of net revenue collected by Universal Orlando for any eligible sale. Universal will pay fifty percent (50%) upfront of the commission, based on projected net revenue within thirty (30) days after the contract has been signed by both parties. The balance of the commission shall be paid upon conclusion of contractual obligations, within thirty (30) days after receipt by Universal of the entire amount due from the lead for the event.

What is an eligible sale?

An eligible sale is a sale of a Universal Private Catered Event with or without Ticket order in conjunction with the event at Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure, Universal's Volcano Bay water theme park, or Universal CityWalk in which the Helms Briscoe associate provided Universal with the referral. The referral must meet the following criteria:

-The lead is a direct referral by the Helms Briscoe associate
-Universal has a fully executed event sales agreement with the lead or a third party representing the lead
A lead shall be defined as a new referral for a group with which Universal is not already working (proposed or contracted) that results in a contracted event.

Incentive valid for HelmsBriscoe Associates only. Associate will earn a chance with each qualified lead sent via Cvent. The winner receives: a 4-night stay at an on-site hotel of his/her choice, $150 food and beverage credit per day for use at the on-site hotels, and four 3-day 3-park theme park tickets (blockout dates apply).

Leads must be generated by December 31, 2018 for future business of 10 rooms or more plus meeting space at any Universal Orlando on-site hotel. Leads must be for business that would actualize during the months of September – December of 2018, 2019, 2020 or 2021. An additional entry will be earned for leads that include an event component at the time of submission.

Valid for verified HelmsBriscoe Associates who contract for groups and conventions consisting of rooms at Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Resort and/or events at Universal Orlando Resort theme parks or Universal CityWalk. Associates will receive 10% commission on all rooms revenue contracted, occupied and paid, and 5% commission on all Universal Orlando Resort theme park or Universal CityWalk event revenue contracted, occupied and received. Net revenue means earnings before taxes and gratuity billed directly to a client or third party representing such client purchasing from Universal Orlando, less applicable tax, gratuities and rebates. Commissions are not paid on cancelled events, regardless of whether or not Universal Orlando receives liquidated damages.
